Leptocarpus Similis

A reed with a fine grey-green leaves with brownish bracts at the joints, forming a large densely erect clump.
It spreads from a creeping rhizome but is slow spreading.
It has both male and female plants and when flowering the female flowers have a red appearance. Although considered a wetland species, Oioi will grow in normal conditions.
